Wellness Program/Personal Trainer

Scott Pratt , BS Kinesiology, CSCS
Wellness Program/Personal Trainer

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:
Received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Washington State University in 2009. Scott furthered his education by attaining a Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

GOAL:
Help people achieve their fitness goals in both one-on-one and group settings safely and effectively. Being able to give people that "spark" and motivation that many individuals lack, is my primary focus. If the mind believes that it can do something, the body will find a way to do it! When your training with me, every second is focused on you and you alone. Specializing in functional movement, the workouts will be built around the individuals sport, activity, and/or daily lifestyle. This means no machines or gimmicks. With my Physical Therapy background the workouts designed will optimize flexibility, stability, balance/proprioception, strength, power, speed, and proper warm up. Whether your goal is weight loss, rehab from injury, increasing strength, or becoming more functional, I'm the trainer for you!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Expect every workout to be unique and specific to your personal goals. I have worked with clients aging from 9 to 88 years of age, each having their own custom workouts and programs. Every day there is a million reasons why an individual shouldn't work out, "It's too late" or I'm too tired today". Well I believe that life begins outside your comfort zone. I know that working out is hard to start, but the results that follow will produce a sense of confidence and physical abilities that can't be matched! If you're on the fence about trying "DO IT"!! The first session is free and I promise that with hard work and a little sweat your life can change forever!
