Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Emily Durban, DPT,

Emily grew up in Big Bear Lake, California. In 2005, she graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Art History.  After college she worked as an assistant lacrosse coach for the University of Redlands, specializing in defense and transition offence. Desiring to work more closely with enhancing the physical performance of athletes, especially those requiring rehabilitation, she moved to Washington to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound, which she obtained in 2010. While in graduate school, Emily continued coaching as an assistant coach to the Loggers.  She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and enjoys working with all patient populations, with a focus on manual therapy and functional training.

Interests

Coaching, playing any type of sport, getting caught in the rain and long walks on the beach.

Kristy is a graduate of Eastern Washington University where she received her BS in Occupational Therapy.  Kristy has worked since graduating in 2003 in hand therapy and in pediatric therapy focusing on hand function.  Kristy has extensive training in hand and elbow conditions.  In her spare time, Kristy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and being outdoors.

Vanessa Loyd COTA/L  is a Green River Community College graduate, receiving a Degree in Applied Science in Occupational Therapy.  She graduated in 1999, and has been working in the specialty field of hand therapy ever since.  Her expertise encompasses the treatment of post surgical hand, wrist and elbow injuries; including, but not limited to, fractures, tendon injuries, nerve injuries, and wound care.  Other specialty treatment includes cumulative trauma (RSI), and custom fabrication of both static and dynamic splints.  Vanessa stays current in her skills by attending regular continuing education courses that focus on the upper quadrant; hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder and also attending Washington Hand Study group sessions.

Personal Statement
Vanessa’s additional vocational interests include camping, riding her Banshee in the sand dunes, and many other adrenaline oriented activities.  She also enjoys spending down time with her friends, husband and two cats.

Christopher Overfield attended Seattle University and graduated from Bellevue Massage School  Center for Healing arts in 2007. He has specialized training  in Myofascial Release and Cranio-Sacral Therapy.

Christopher grew up in Mt. Angel Oregon. In his spare time he enjoys reading a wide array of books, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. He travels as much as possible and would love to get the chance to visit Barcelona. In the meantime he is happy roaming around Seattle, hiking the cascade mountains, and cooking for friends and family.
