DownTown Olympia Physical & Hand Therapy Therapist
Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT), Certified Strength And Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)

Sean Sipe, MPT, CSCS
Owner and CEO, Clinic Director

Sean graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1996 with a degree in Human Biology. He then received his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from EWU in 1998. Originally from the Spokane area, Sean first practiced in Aberdeen, WA before moving to Olympia with the goal of starting a practice. Sean founded South Sound Physical & Hand Therapy in 2002. The company's Downtown Olympia location (formerly Market Centre Physical Therapy) was the first clinic in its progression to five locations. In 2004, Sean received his Board Certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He currently sees patients at our Lacey location.

Sean's clinical interests are in spine and shoulder rehabilitation, athletic injuries, and sports performance enhancement with golfers. His philosophy of patient care is to first take a detailed history and then combine that with a thorough physical examination; because arriving at a more specific diagnosis allows the therapist to provide the most specific and appropriate intervention. Sean's wife Christina is also a physical therapist, and they have three children. Sean is an avid golfer and also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
