Mind-Body Therapy

Mind Body Therapy focus on balancing our physical, emotional and mental well being through nurturing positive self care skills.

The Technique

Mind Body Therapy focus on balancing our physical, emotional and mental well being through nurturing positive self care skills. Stress management techniques are taught to assist individuals with pain control and physical imbalances that can settle into our bodies via disease or injury.

Three main areas are addressed

  1. Our Autonomic Nervous System, specifically our parasympathetic system, through various breathing techniques
  2. Our fascia and how it interacts with our muscles, joints and spinal alignment
  3. Self care management.

Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Myofascial Release, and Bowenwork are some of the modalities utilized in this integrative medicine approach. Honoring each individual as the center of their care, we examine cognitive belief patterns, emotions and physical symptoms to facilitate a more holistic balance in their body. Mindfulness meditation techniques are central to this holistic approach and create a framework for individuals to become more informed observers and participants on their own path to well being.
