Fascia Self Care Series - Mondays
Join us for a series of three classes exploring The MELT Method and other fascia focused techniques!
Your body is a resilient, springy, responsive structure, able to withstand the forces of gravity and the daily, repeated motions and postures of work, life and sport… until it’s not. Regardless of your age, you may have begun to notice stiffness when changing positions, sitting to standing and moving for example. Your recovery from weekend runs or gardening is slower and you detect tightness, aches or strains that seem new.
Over the course of three weeks, you will be introduced to the exploding science of fascia and connective tissue, and experience techniques from the MELT Method (with balls and roller); and from mindful movement traditions that nurture this body-wide network of tissue which houses your nervous system. This small-group sequence of classes will give you time to explore your potential to self-treat pain, restore mobility, and help reset your nervous system for healthy aging.
