Growing up in Olympia, Washington I was a very active kid playing basketball, baseball, and football. In high school I transitioned into track and field along with cross country, which sparked a continuing appreciation for running. While attending college at WSU and then the University of Puget Sound I moved towards outdoor sports in the forms of rock climbing, mountain biking, and skiing, which have become my true passions.
