Dr. Christopher Hughen
"āIām committed to providing evidence-based, high-quality care in a space where people feel supported and encouraged throughout their rehab journey.ā"
Chris grew up in Austin, Texas and developed a passion for sports, fitness, and strength training at an early age. That interest eventually led him into strength and conditioning and physical therapy, where he combined his love for exercise, education, and helping others return to the activities that matter most to them. Chris has a special interest in working with active individuals dealing with acute and persistent musculoskeletal pain, helping them build confidence, improve function, and return to exercise, sport, and everyday life through evidence-based rehabilitation.
In addition to working as a physical therapist, Chris serves as Head Coach for E3 Rehab, where he helps lead remote rehabilitation and coaching programs for clients around the world. He is also a podcast host and content creator, producing educational content focused on pain, rehab, exercise, and clinical reasoning for both patients and healthcare professionals. Chris is passionate about simplifying complex topics and promoting practical, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys reading, exploring Seattle, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, spending time outdoors, and staying active.
