This rejuvenating therapy offers a supportive environment for increasing strength, mobility, and balance. Learn modifications for traditional postures and breathing practices. Therapeutic yoga can be beneficial when recovering from a particular pathology or movement dysfunction in a one on one environment to ensure proper positioning and alignment.

A Therapeutic Yoga session at SCFSM

For many of our clients, this is the second phase of treatment intended to encourage functional movement patterns and build strength, which will translate into long term normalized and efficient movement patterns.
Special attention will be drawn to functional movement and structural alignment, while staying mindful of the whole body. All yoga mats and props are provided.

 

Therapuetic Yoga is commonly used for:
