Jennifer Romanowicz, PT, DPT, Cert MDT, MBA has been a physical therapist for over 20 years, and is incredibly passionate about her work. She earned her Bachelor’s in Health Science and Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton, then later went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. She is accomplished in several manual treatment techniques, is certified in the McKenzie Method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy, and received world-class mentorship with an instructor of the Mulligan Concept. She has worked all over the country, refining her skills and gaining extensive experience with a wide variety of complex orthopedic patient populations. As an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, she enjoys teaching and mentoring, and is often invited to consult on difficult cases with her colleagues. In addition to her technical training, Jen also holds a Master of Business Administration from Regis University, and is an adept clinic director and program manager.
Jen’s professional philosophy is strongly dedicated to ensuring that she delivers the most powerful impacts possible during every single treatment. While she is expertly qualified to treat a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, Jen has specialty interests and advanced training in several areas involving total spine care, headaches and dizziness, post concussion treatment, ankle and foot pain, wellness screening and injury prevention for young athletes, and lower extremity issues including running assessment. She insists that each program is geared to the specific needs of her clients: whether they are Division 1 athletes or recreational dabblers, military personnel or weekend warriors, industrial athletes or stay-home parents – she confidently provides consummate individualized care to orthopedic physical therapy clients of all ages and ability levels.
When she is not practicing physical therapy, Jen loves roller coasters and amusement parks, and even went bungee jumping – twice! As a balanced scholar athlete, she was a dedicated premier level soccer player from a young age, and earned national ranking as a competitive alpine skier before transitioning into a successful rowing career in college. She still spends much of her free time at the soccer fields (mostly cheering!), and when she’s not busy dreaming up her next vacation, she can typically be found hiking and touring the local attractions with her amazing husband and two kids.
