Samara is passionate about holistic care and finding ways to best support her patient’s daily occupations throughout their healing process. She has had training in neurocognitive rehabilitation, spinal cord rehabilitation, evidence-based practice, and was part of the University of Pittsburgh's OTD program – a Program of Merit for the Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education. She has been given the opportunity to continue to develop as a therapist with IRG and train with the distinguished Dr. Rozanni Senanayake to work toward becoming a clinical hand therapist.

In her free time, Samara enjoys reading mysteries, old television, creative outlets (gardening, baking, art), the outdoors, and spending time with her loved ones.
