Emphasis in this course is placed on clinical reasoning and functional interventions for the hip, knee, ankle, and foot.

• Understand how the anatomy, biomechanics and arthro-kinematics of a joint contribute to its function or dysfunction
• Evaluate dysfunction of the different tissues in the lower extremity joints and identify the signs and symptoms of joint pathology
• Apply various techniques for articulation and mobilization with skill and accuracy
• Recognize the indications and contraindications for the use of articulation and mobilization procedures
