Calling all current DPT students & recent graduates! Join us for a free event led by our director of clinical education, Vicki Luebbe, PT, FAAOMPT, to enhance your clinical skills.
Participants will develop hands-on skills and functional reasoning to manage shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand impairments across diverse patient populations. At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand how the anatomy, biomechanics and arthrokinematics of a joint (Hand/Wrist, Elbow, Shoulder) contribute to its function or dysfunction.
- Relate the neurology, pathophysiology, and pain to the dysfunction and to the appropriate treatment.
- Evaluate dysfunction of the different tissues in the presented UE extremity joints and identify the signs and symptoms of joint pathology.
- Select and apply an appropriate treatment program utilizing the optimal stimuli for histological regeneration of all extremity tissues.
- Apply various techniques for articulation and mobilization with skill and accuracy.
